Caring kitchens

We are in need of people who are willing to provide an occasional fresh meal to people in need such as those returning from home from a hospital stay, just had a new baby or are injured or ill. This involves preparing and delivering 1 meal when called upon by coordinator, Lynda Anderson (860- 229-8861) who keeps a list of people who agree to be called upon. Also the church freezer is always in need of food. Please consider preparing a dish, especially for an individual or couple as well as a family. Label it with what it is, the date, number of people served, and reheating instructions and place it in the church freezer. Listing ingredients on the label is also very helpful to the person/people receiving the meal. Although we call for fresh meals when there is a need, we use freezer meals to help for a few extra days or in an emergency

If you are willing to participate in one or more of these valuable ministries, please contact Judy Morris or Lynda An;derson.  Or send an email to: whumc1959@gmail.com
